A Unique Pathway to Total Wellness: 30 Days of Release

Check out this fun and life changing wellness challenge to help you lose a different kind of weight which can help you lose the physical weight on your body.

It’s our 30 Day of Release Challenge!

This is something you can do alone, with your family or in tandem with a group of friends.  No matter who you choose to do it with, you are going to learn so much about yourself while removing items/people from your life that no longer serve you well.  This is one of my secrets to losing weight and keeping it off—having the courage to let go when the time has expired. Holding on leads to stress which can lead to disruption of the endocrine system overall and ultimately lead to weight gain.  Nothing about that sounds like having that WOWW!Factor and life is too short not walk out that WOWW!Factor daily!

When I first did this challenge, I started with baby steps like releasing raggedy packets of condiments and plastic nonsense in my kitchen drawers.  It built the muscle to release the “tough” items that had me in bondage, no longer serving me well.

Stay tuned because I will share HOW doing this challenge EVERY year has been instrumental in getting me to where I am at today and having fun doing it.

For now, look at these two lovelies that are the first to go as I embark upon the challenge AGAIN!   I haven’t worn either in over 10 years! Time to make room for the new!

The Razzle Dazzle left these A LONG time ago!  Yikes! Not sure what nonsense and foolishness I told myself that kept them in my closet for this long as clearly their time is up!  Where I am going, they can’t take me there. 😊  Again, making room for the new!

Good condition but they no longer make my heart leap.  In fact, I think I bought them out of desperation for an event!  Yikes! Why hold on to shoes that connected with desperation and NOT because I really wanted them in the first place?  They MUST go!

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Review Level 1 and Level 2.  Level 1 can done anytime. Level 2 is best to start at the beginning of the month.

  2. Select which option will work best for you at this moment.

  3. As you go through the challenge, throw away or give away (although not sure who is taking donations during this time due to COVID-19).

  4. Journal what you discover as you release.  No need for a dissertation. It may be just a few bullet points.  Capturing your thoughts and feelings on paper is golden for growth.

  5. If you are doing it with family or a buddy, check in with each other periodically to share how things are going and to encourage one another.  Celebrate DAILY as you release! In addition to journaling, orally celebrating your actions will help with the shift that will occur as you move through this challenge.

Level 1:

Use the chart to identify WHERE to go to get an item to release or WHAT item to release.  For example, April 9th suggests you delete an app, phone number or text from your phone.  In other words, purge something from phone that no longer serves you well.

Level 2: (This is for the those who love a challenge)

Day 1 you release 1 item.  Day 2 release 2 items. Day 3 release 3 items…. Day 30 you release 30 items.

Have fun RELEASING and get ready for the new!
